  1. Which flights are available for online booking?

    Online booking currently is available on almost all international and domestic flights operated by Cambodia Angkor Air.

  2. How do I use the E-Ticket I purchased?

    At check-in, just show your valid passport and the credit card you used to purchase your Electronic Tickets to receive your boarding pass(es).

  3. Which payment methods are available?

    We offer the following forms of payment for online booking:

       Immediate payment using credit cards: VISA and MasterCard.



       For payment using credit cards:

          o Virtual or single-use cards will not be accepted.
          o During the payment process, you may be required to enter your personal password in a secure page

  4. Are online transactions/payments safe?

    Cambodia Angkor Air website participates in Verified by Visa and MasterCard® SecureCode™ security feature. 

  5. What is Reservation Code used for?

    Reservation Code is a 6-letter code (e.g. KJPNCZ) used for login to https://www.virtuallythere.com to get your eTicket Receipt. It is provided at the last stage of your booking on www.cambodiaangkorair.com and shown on your eTicket Receipt.

  6. How can I collect my ticket purchased online?

    All tickets purchased online are issued as electronic tickets (eTicket). After completing your booking and payment, your eTicket Receipt will be sent to your registered email.


    If you don’t receive your eTicket Receipt within 2 hours after purchase, please contact the nearest Cambodia Angkor Air office for supports.

  7. What information is shown in the eTicket Receipt? Can eTicket Receipt be reviewed online?

    eTicket Receipt includes information on the passengers, itineraries, fares and payments details. For more details and review your eTicket, please click here.

  8. Can I make online booking for infant(s)?

    Yes, you can book for infants without seat online at www.cambodiaangkorair.com. Click here to get more details on our regulations and special services offered for infants.

  9. Can I make online booking and requesting accompanied service for my children traveling alone?

  10. How can I find the best fare offered online?

    When you search flight, our online booking system will automatically search and display the best fare and available seats in each fare family for your selected flights/dates range.

  11. How do I make a change to my online booking or tickets booked online?

    For changes to an existing online booking, including rerouting and change of flight date or time, please contact the nearest Cambodia Angkor Air office.

  12. Can I cancel my tickets booked online and how can I get refund?

    Please contact to Cambodia Angkor Air office or email to helpdesk_online_2@cambodiaangkorair.com  with the completed Refund Request form to get your refund. Please note that you must send the Refund Request form from the registered email entered during the initial purchase. The refund will be credited directly to the Credit Card used to purchase the tickets online.
    Note: Depending on the rules and conditions of your fare, the refund may NOT be allowed OR a refund fee may be applied.

  13. How many passengers can I book online?

    You can book a maximum of 6 seats in one transaction (including adults, children and infants with seats).

  14. After purchasing ticket online, how can I get a receipt?

    Please go to your nearest Cambodia Angkor Air Ticketing office. Moreover, you can keep the boarding pass to prove services used with payment organization.

  15. What should I do if I lose the credit card used to purchase my online ticket and this is needed for check-in/change my ticket?

    Please go to your nearest Cambodia Angkor Air Ticketing office to purchase a new ticket and refund the old ticket.

  16. What should I do if my bank has issued me a new credit card to replace the one used to purchase my online ticket?

    Please go to your nearest Cambodia Angkor Air Ticketing office to purchase a new ticket and refund the old ticket.

  17. What should I do if I terminate the credit card that I used to purchase my ticket?

    Before you terminate, please bring your credit card to the nearest Cambodia Angkor Air Ticketing office to have it verified. You will then no longer be required to present your credit card during check-in.

  18. My credit card is valid at time of online purchasing but will expire before my travel. What should I do if my credit card expires before I commence my travel?

    Cambodia Angkor Air accepts expired credit card at check-in provided that it is valid at time of online purchasing.

  21. Can I book the ticket with my expired passport?

    It's possible to book your ticket with your expired passport. However, we suggest you to notify us after you have your passport is renew because we will have to update it in your flight information. Otherwise, there will problem for you at the check-in counter.

  22. Can I make the booking by via emails or over the phone calls?

    We are sorry to say we never accept the booking through via emails or over the phone calls. Please try to make the booking online yourself or visit the nearest Cambodia Angkor Air offices to issue the tickets.

  23. Why I have been charged twice for my booking?

    So far we never charged from passengers twice with the same booking. The reason we charged you twice because you bought the tickets for two passengers. Note the transaction once charged for one ticket, so you bought two tickets, the transaction were charged twice for two tickets (once for each) under the same booking.

  24. What’s wrong with my reservation? Have my booking successful made?

    (After I submit the payment page I have yet received neither the reservation code nor any confirmation e-tickets).

    Please drop email to helpdesk_online_2@cambodiaangkorair.com include the email address and full names of the passenger which you made the booking, so helpdesk team will cross check in the system to find whether your booking has gone through or not or you can simple try to find your booking by yourself on our website (click on your trip and find flight).

  25. How long can I get my refund amount back to my original credit card account after I confirmed the refund request?

    It will take us few weeks or a month to transfer your money back to your account because we have to work with our team as well as the bank. Please leave us sometime to work on this. If after a period of time you yet to receive the money, it may be helpful to contact your bank as well.

  26. My credit card is charged for my online booking, but I have not received any confirmation or e-tickets from you, what can I do?

    If you have not received the confirmation with via e-ticket from us, therefor we confirm we do not charge any payment from your credit card unless you are successfully made the booking.

Airport Check in

  1. How much time should I allot for procedures at the airport?

    Due to potential traffic delays, check-in time and security screening, you are recommended to be at the airport at least 60 minutes before departure of domestic flights and 120 minutes before departure of international flights.

  2. When the check-in counters opened for passengers?

    Although check-in times vary by airport, Cambodia Angkor Air check-in counters are usually opened as follows:

    Open time
    • International flights: counters are opened 2 hours before STD
    • Domestic flights: counters are opened 1 hour 30 minutes before STD
    Close time
    • International flights: counters are closed 30 minutes before STD
    • Domestic flights: counters are closed20 minutes before STD *STD: Scheduled Time of Departure.

  3. What happens if I fail to check-in on time?

    If you do not check in by the check-in deadline you will not be able to travel on the flight. Depending on your fare conditions, a failure to check-in on time may also result in loss of the fare, extra charges for change fee and/or fare differences.

  4. What happens if I have checked-in, but failed to board at least 5 minutes before departure?

    All passengers should arrive at the boarding gate with a boarding pass at least 30 minutes before departure. If you are not present at the departure gate at least 10 minutes before departure you may have forfeited your seat.

  5. What about delays at check-in or security?

    Airports operate a 'call forward' counter to assist passengers who are in a queue and have an imminent departure. However, it is your responsibility to make a Cambodia Angkor Air staff member aware of your situation and, where possible, they will attempt to assist you. Listen for any announcements calling your flight to a particular check-in counter.

  6. What is the difference between check-in and boarding?

    Check-in confirms your presence on the flight and allows you to check in any baggage and get your boarding pass. Boarding is the moment at which you actually get on the plane.

    Once check-in has been completed, remember to leave enough time to pass through the security monitoring areas (passport and/or security procedures). This will ensure you arrive at the indicated boarding gate on time.


  7. What are the additional items can I carry on board without charged?

    In addition to free baggage allowance, each passenger may carry, without additional charges such as personal objects for use during embarking, disembarking or onboard click here


  8. I used my parents’ credit card to book the ticket online. Do you require the card holder to present at the airport with me?

    Its fine, we do not require the card holder to present at the airport with you. Therefore you do not have to worry. Please bring the ticket number with the correct name along with your personal travel documents to the check-in counter.

  1. What is an electronic ticket?

    An eTicket (or electronic ticket) is a ticket that is stored electronically rather than being printed on paper as a paper ticket.

  2. Can I change my travel date and itinerary?

    There are many types of fares, each with different restrictions. Change of travel date and/or itinerary is subject to the conditions associated with the fare and seat availability

  3. Where can I change my ticket itinerary when I am traveling outside Cambodia Angkor Air?

  4. Can I request to change my ticket at a travel agent other than the travel agent that issued my ticket?

    It is not possible. You need to contact the travel agent that issued your ticket or the nearest Cambodia Angkor Air office

  5. What should I do if I lost my eTicket?

    For ticket purchased online, you can login to https://www.virtuallythere.com using your Reservation Code to retrieve and reprint your eTicket. For other eTickets, please contact the nearest Cambodia Angkor Air office

  6. My name does not appear in order in the e-ticket sent after I successfully made the booking do I have to request Online Helpdesk Team to replace it in order?

    Its fine there will be no problems for you when boarding the flight. Your name just appeared not in order and we accept it. Please do not have to worry about this matter.

  7. Can I request Cambodia Angkor Air to amend my even if my correct name is far difference from the name in my booking?

    We are sorry to say we cannot change the name and re-issue the ticket for you because we can only change the name for passenger if one or two letters are missing in their name. For your case, the name is far difference therefore we would like to suggest you to purchase a new ticket with the correct name.

  8. My name does not appear in order in the e-ticket sent after I successfully made the booking do I have to request Online Helpdesk Team to replace it in order?

    Its fine there will be no problems for you when boarding the flight. Your name just appeared not in order and we accept it. Please do not have to worry about this matter.


  1. What is the allowance for checked baggage?

    The allowance for checked baggage will be different depending on your itinerary. For detail information, please click here.

  2. What is the allowance for carry-on baggage?

    Business Class passenger can carry two pieces on board. Economy Class passenger can carry 1 piece of baggage.
    Each piece has a maximum weight of 7kg and the sum of three dimensions shall not exceed 115 cm (56 cm x 36 cm x 23 cm) or (22 x 14 x 9 inches).
    In addition, each passenger may carry, without additional charges, the following personal objects for use during embarking, disembarking or onboard, provided that such objects are retained by passenger's custody:
    • A handbag, pocket book or lady's purse, i.e., which is appropriate to normal traveling dress and is not used as a container for the transportation of articles which would otherwise be regarded as baggage;
    • An overcoat, wrap or blanket;
    • An umbrella or walking stick (except one with metal-filled sharp pointed end)
    • A laptop computer, a small camera and/or a binoculars;
    • A reasonable amount of reading materials for in-flight reading only;
    • Infant's food for consumption in flight;
    • Infant's carrying basket or bassinet;
    • A fully collapsible wheel chair.
    • A pair of crutches and/or braces or other prosthetic device for the passenger's use.

  3. Are baggage allowances the same across different airlines and locations?

    No, baggage allowances do vary across different airlines and locations.

  4. What is the baggage allowance for a code-share flight?

    Baggage allowances depend on the rules of the airline operating your flight.

  5. I got a ticket from Cambodia to Vietnam, involving several carriers. What can I do to know the exact allowance of each checked baggage?

    The allowance shall be different from airline to airline. Please surf their website or contact to their agents to get more detail information.

  6. What is the allowance of checked baggage for children from Cambodia to Vietnam?

    Children from 2 years of age can have the allowance as normal adult passengers. Children under the age of 2 are entitled to a special allowance of 1 piece of baggage with the total dimension not exceeding 115cm and the weight not exceeding 23kg + 01 fully collapsible baby stroller.

  7. What items can not be packed in my carry-on baggage?

    The following items which in a passenger’s possession may be considered as weapons or dangerous objects and are not accepted as carry-on baggage:
        • All knives, including hunting knives and others;
        • Swords;
        • Bludgeons, blackjacks, billy clubs or similar instruments;
        • Any other device or object not commonly viewed as dangerous, but the possession of which suggests that it may be used as a weapon, namely, ice picks, straight (cut-throat) razors, long-blade scissors, etc.

  8. If I purchase beverages or other liquids/gels beyond the security checkpoint at the airport, may I bring them on the plane?

    Yes, provided that such liquids are packed in a transparent sealed plastic bag provided by the seller, that is tamper-evident. The proof of purchase at airport duty free shops, or on board aircraft has to be displayed satisfactorily with the name of the shop and date of purchase without the opening of the bag.

  9. What about carriage of liquids onboard aircrafts?

    Some countries have made changes to security measures at airports. If you are traveling to any of these countries, these measures will affect what you can carry on board an aircraft on international flights.

  10. Are liquids and gels permitted in my checked baggage?

    Yes, provided that such liquids and gels are safety and reasonable packed.

  1. What is included in a PurpleHolidays?

    PurpleHolidays are packages that include round-trip air tickets and hotel accommodation services.

    Breakfast may or may not be included. When breakfast is included, it is provided based on the room type: Single room - 01 breakfast, Double/Twin room - 2 breakfasts, Triple room - 3 breakfasts. If the number of guests exceeds the booked standard, extra breakfast charges will apply and are to be paid to the hotel upon check-in. Contact your hotel for more details.

  2. How many persons or hotel rooms can be booked on one PurpleHolidays package?

    You can purchase a maximum of 03 hotel rooms and 09 people with one PurpleHolidays booking. The maximum number of guests per room will be based on room types: Single room- 01 person; Double/Twin room- 02 Adults, 02 children; Triple room- 03 adults, 01 child.

  3. What travel documents do I need for my trip?

    You need to bring your Passport with valid visa, the PurpleHolidays Invoice and the Payment Card (cards used for payment of the holiday) to present at airport and hotel check-in. If you fail to present such documents you may be denied service or required to purchase a new PurpleHolidays.

  4. If I need to cancel my PurpleHolidays, what do I do?

    If you wish to cancel your PurpleHolidays, please fill in the PurpleHolidays Cancellation Form and send to purplepackages@angkor-air.com. The request email must be sent from the registered email address you used to purchase your PurpleHolidays.

  5. Can I get a refund on my PurpleHolidays?

    Your PurpleHolidays can be refunded only under the following conditions:

    • Application for a PurpleHolidays with “cancellation permitted” shown in the Invoice.
    • Cancellation is applied to the whole of an entirely unused package.
    • Cancellation fee is 30% of package price.
    • The refund will be credited to the payment card/s that were used to purchase the package.
  6. Can I change hotel or flights for purchased package on my PurpleHolidays?

    Change flights and/or hotels of the PurpleHolidays package is NOT applicable. You should request us for refund the package if permitted; and then book a new one.

  7. How and when will I receive my PurpleHolidays Invoice?

    Upon successful payment, you will receive a PurpleHolidays confirmation attached with a PurpleHolidays Invoice at your registered email. Please print the Invoice and bring it with you during your trip to present upon request. 

  8. If I don't receive a confirmation e-mail after I make the payment, what should I do?

    In case you do not receive the confirmation email within 30 minutes after successful payment, you must contact PurpleHolidays helpdesk at +855 23 666 0330 or email purplepackages@angkor-air.com for support.

  9. Is PurpleHolidays Invoice accepted as a legal receipt?

    PurpleHolidays Invoice is a legal receipt. Boarding pass should be used as the supporting document to prove the services taken.
